Training on “Corporate Governance and Change Strategy” kicked off in Astana today, organized by QID. The program focused on strategic development, transformation management, and the board’s role during change.

The focus was on change management models, leadership and communication during transformation, digital transformation and the implementation of innovations, as well as assessing risks and opportunities of strategic change. Participants analyzed practical cases and discussed transformation support tools at the level of the top governing body.

The training was delivered by Elnura Abakanova — an independent director, a certified practitioner in change management, Senior Lecturer at Astana IT University, a member of the Supervisory Board, and Executive Director of QID. A graduate of Institute of Directors (UK) programs, she completed training and a professional internship at Harvard University, as well as continuing education programs at Imperial College London, the World Bank, and the OECD.
