Today in Astana, the third day of the training «Corporate Governance. Best Practices and Case Studies of Boards of Directors» is underway.

The final day of the program focuses on the role of the Board of Directors in the company’s strategic management. Participants discuss the Board’s impact on shaping the mission, vision, and values, creating long-term value, working with stakeholders, managing strategic risks, and the role of corporate culture. The day’s agenda includes analysis of practical case studies and interactive discussion.

The speaker for the third day is Alikhan Baidusenov — Certified Director IoD (UK), Certified Risk-Based Auditor, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kazakh Tourism, Member of the Supervisory Board of QID, Executive Director of KazEnergy. An expert with more than 15 years of experience in the private sector and the oil and gas industry, including managing complex projects, M&A deals, and preparing companies for IPOs.
