The third block of the «Corporate Governance. Best Practices and Cases of Boards of Directors» program has concluded

Today, the third block of the «Corporate Governance. Best Practices and Cases of Boards of Directors» program has concluded—serving as the finale of a three-day intensive for business leaders, board members, and company executives.

The participants focused on a key topic—the role of the Board of Directors in company management. Discussions covered the Board’s impact on shaping the company’s mission, values, and long-term business sustainability, practices for creating shareholder value, and mechanisms for effective interaction with top management. Special attention was given to how boards of directors can support companies’ strategic resilience in the face of uncertainty and growing risks.

The program included an analysis of stakeholder maps and a discussion of best practices in building strategies and managing corporate culture.

The speaker for the third day was Alikhan Baidusenov—Certified Director IoD (UK), Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC «Kazakh Tourism», a member of the Supervisory Board of the QID Association, and Executive Director of the «KazEnergy» Association. His more than 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector and expertise in managing complex projects brought practical depth and relevance to the discussions.
